Why is there periodic success when continuously reading SHT31?

Hello,

Please answer the first question I asked in this thread. I am not sure which Nordic chip and SDK version you are using here to build the application. I found a tag saying nRF52840, but I couldn't find an overlay file for nRF52840 inside the github repository. Are you building it for a different or custom board?

Sorry I missed this, the overlay file is here
github.com/.../nrf52832dk_nrf52832.overlay

SDK and toolchina are using v2.2.0.

I am using the official NRF52832DK development board. I also use the NRF52840 to compile with the same overlay, and it does the same thing, and if you just call the Zehpyr i2c api, you don't get the error mentioned in the question.
