LTE Synchronization for other WSN mesh.

I'm on a research to find out how I can use synchronization feature only from LTE for other Wireless Sensor Network.

In online profiler page, There's no explanation about synchronization and which operations are essential for synchronization only.

I wish I could find out whether cDRX events are needed for synchronization and such.

Furthermore I'm trying to design a new mesh protocol that is synchronized from low earth orbit(LEO) satellites' signals.

Would you give me some details about LTE synchronization operation, please?

I am not familiar with this topic, and I don't think this is something Nordic supports at the moment, but feel free to do some research yourself.

Can you be a little bit more specific? What do you want to know about LTE synchronization? If it is about the modem functionality, I'm not sure if this is something we can share if it is not mentioned in the PS.

I was trying to find which of LTE operations in powerprofile are needed for synchronization for communication.

if you see LTE profile, there are Network sync, SIM sync, RRC setup/reconf, TAU, DRX inactivity timer and so on.

I'm guessing some of these are for payload delivery. But I only need to know synchronization operations.

would it be simply just these two, Network sync, SIM sync?

I'm thinking of hooking it up for other WSN. Since crystals has some skew among nodes as time goes by. The synchronization signal should keep the WSN in-sync.

Are you talking about clock synchronization? They should be synchronized from the network, at least in the case of modem time.
