Asset Tracker v2 power saving features

I am experimenting with the nRF9160 dev kit and Asset Tracker v2 program, and would like to minimize power consumption and data transmission. Currently I have explored the PSM settings, but I would like to minimize the interval between data transmission (sending location data to nRF Cloud for example). Does the Asset Tracker v2 have any features in configuration etc. that would allow me to send data less frequently?

I assume that you have had a look at the Power optimization for nRF9160 chapter in our documentation? 

And that you are building the Asset Tracker with the Low Power overlay? (nrf\applications\asset_tracker_v2\overlay-low-power.conf) This configuration file helps to achieve the lowest power consumption by disabling features that consume extra power, such as LED control and logging.

The Data Module in the Asset Tracker v2 application is what controls the data transmission. You can configure that default values under the Configuration options. There is also an option to configure these during run time from the cloud solution, please see the Real-time configurations.
