DFU library to update another nrf device via BLE in SDK17

Hello everyone,

I am working on a project that involves BLE DFU between nRF52840 devices from central to peripheral devices. I would appreciate guidance on how to achieve this efficiently and securely.

Maybe there is a library that implemented the DFU protocol?

SoC 1: nRF52840 (Central)

SoC 2: nRF52840 (Peripheral)

Tool: nRF5 SDK v17.1.0

Softdevice: S140

Any help or guidance would be much appreciated.

Hi Jhon,

Unfortunately, we do not have any DFU master implementations for the nRF. There however some unofficial DFU master implementations for serial transport that you can use for reference (see section 6 in Getting started with Nordic's Secure DFU bootloader, a step by step guide). There may also be some other code out there tough I have not found it, as I know we have customers that have implemented this themselves.
