Hi Nordic, I was performing the processor comparison between nRF52840 and nRF52832 and found that current consumption is 0.7μA when All peripheral in IDLE mode  for nRF52840 and 

1.2μA when All peripheral in IDLE mode  for nRF52832. The current consumption should be greater for nRF52840 compare to  nRF52832 according to my understanding ? Please let me know is this correct or explain why the current consumption is less for nRF52840 .

Hi Pavan,

The current consumption can depend on a lot of factors like the configurations, the mode of operations and also on the peripherals connected and activated. Is this the same for both the chips?

Also, how did you perform the comparison, i.e. was it on a custom board?

  I haven't evaluate anything on the board  . I have gone through the datasheet and  i got these numbers from these datasheet(I have attached the link above) . What I need to know is why nRF52840 consumes less current compare to nRF52832.
