PPK2 measuring incorrectly.

Greetings

I am trying to measure the current consumption of my board (does not use a Nordic SoC), and the power profiler in unison with the NrfConnect SDK app measures current in the kA range which is obviously incorrect. What would I need to do to obtain accurate results?. I've not been prompted to update the firmware of the PPK either. My NrfSDK power profiler app is of the latest version (4.1) and my PPK2 details are as follows:

PCA63100

1.0.1

2022.31

C06F0AC0

Any help would be appreciated.

  • Hello,

Make sure that the PPK and board (which you are measuring) have been properly connected. Please make sure you have connected to the appropriate pins. See the user guide.

I've not been prompted to update the firmware of the PPK either. My NrfSDK power profiler app is of the latest version (4.1) and my PPK2 details are as follows:

Most of the time, it should prompt you to program. Try opening the PPK in the Programmer app, and then it will go into bootloader mode. Then try to open the device inside the power profiler; now the PPK will prompt you to programme. See if this helps.

    Kind Regards,
