nRF51822 low TX rate (Bluefruit LE SPI Friend)

Dear all, I do have troubles with the bandwidth of the nRF51822 contained in the Adafruit's Bluefruit LE SPI Friend module. The max. throughput I get is 213 B/s. I'm using Nordis's UART characteristics.

I use the Adafruit's firmware and library.

Does anyone of you have experience with this module? Have you achieved better speeds? Is there any better firmware for this module available?

I've read that current max speed is at about 2.6kB/s.

What connection interval are you using? How much data in each packet? Do you have any sniffer available so we can so what is sent on the air?
