Testing BH1749 sensor with nrf5340DK

I connected one external BH1749 sensor with nrf5340DK and was testing it with the bh1749 sample code but the sensor is only getting initialized and I am getting [00:00:00.438,629] <err> BH1749: No valid data to fetch.
sensor_sample_fetch failed ret -5 this error, it is not able to fetch the data

It will be grateful if someone can help me with this.

Hi,

I recommend that you have a look at https://developer.nordicsemi.com/nRF_Connect_SDK/doc/latest/nrf/samples/sensor/bh1749/README.html and see how the device is set up in the board files and how the sensor is initialized and used in that sample and then port it to the 5340DK from there.

Yes actually I programmed this code only for which I am getting -5 return error code while reading the sensors data
