Zigbee max number of end devices connected to an nrf52833 coordinator in Network Co-Processor configuration

Hello to everyone,

I'm pretty in new in developing with Nordic chips and zigbee.

I am evaluating a possible configuration for a Zigbee coordinator and I verified that a Network Co-Processor architecture could satisfy my needs. I am using a nrf52833 (nrfConnect SDK v2.6) with the NCP firmware built from the samples folder of the SDK and Linux as HOST.

The only doubt I have is about the max number of Zigbee devices connected to the coordinator. There is some documentation that I can check to understand what kind of limits this configuration has?

In general, there is no specific number of Zigbee devices connected to the coordinator in a network, but there is a limit w.r.t the number of devices in a network as well as a limit to the amount of devices in NCS. Other than the constraints you've already mentioned, we have this configuration  that defines the amount of devices in a network ranging from 2 to 200. See zb_mem_config_min.h/ zb_mem_config_med.h/zb_mem_config_max.h,

Another question: Could I increase the limit in zb_mem_config_max.h to go over 200 devices or this could cause some issues?

This configuration only supports from 2  to 200.
