We are currently in the process of incorporating the NRF9160 as the core 4G/GNSS module for our vehicle tracking system. However, based on our experience, relying solely on GPS signals has proven to be unreliable due to inconsistent satellite reception. Hence, we are exploring the integration of a cloud-based positioning solution to enhance the reliability and accuracy of our system.
With our research, it has come to our attention that your organization offers a cloud infrastructure tailored to our needs. In order to integrate our devices into this framework, we understand that device registration is required, by using of both a Hardware Identifier (HWID) and a Device ID, which is located on the labels of your Development boards. However, we seek clarification on the procedure for registering the modems themselves (not devkits like thingy91 etc) in your cloud infrastructure without having HWID information.
