MFF2 sim not detecting on NRF9161DK

Hello Team,

I have soldered an MFF2 SIM at U6 location of the NRF9161 DK PCA 10153 ver 0.9.1. I do not insert the plastic sim in J5 position. I am unable to make the MFF2 sim work in this configuration. Looking at the schematic, it seems like there need to be a change in SIM_select line to enable the MFF2 sim. I also tried checking the voltage on C49 pad. It never goes to 1.8V. 

Do I have to make any modifications to my program to enable MFF2 sim detection?

Hello Mihir,

The SIM selection is configured by the board controller, as according to the SIM and eSIM section of the DK user guide. The board controller may be configured the following way:

1. Open nRF Connect SDK for Desktop -> Board Configurator
2. Select the DK
3. Choose the desired SIM Option
   
4. Hit the Write config button.
