nRF Connect API for BlueZ on linux

Hi guys,

is there a subject for linux?

What I would want to do is write a simple CLI app which would write and read characteristics.

Is there something from Nordic available for Linux?

Hi,

Have you tried the 'bluetoothctl' utility included with Bluez? Depending on your requirements, another alternative to consider could be to use the bleak package.

Thank for the suggestions. I hoped that Nordic has made Linux variant of nRF Connect like the one for android but with CLI support. :)

We currently do not have a CLI tool for interfacing with the Bluez stack.
