Programming failed in Quick Start for Assest Tracking

Hello Team, 

I am working on nrf9160dk. I have installed the nrf connect for desktop. 

I am going through the Quick start. In quick start, in the Select an application to programming section, I have selected Assest Tracking and click on Program. 
After that, I am facing error. It was saying programming failed. 

Can you please help me on this. 
I would like to provide any other information if you want. 

I am sure that, I connected my kit to the desktop and turn it on and it's in the nrf91 mode. 

I have also inserted the sim into it.

If you type nrfjprog --version in a command line window what does it look like? E.g. something like

I was able to see the same

Try to install nRF Command line tools from:
https://www.nordicsemi.com/Products/Development-tools/nRF-Command-Line-Tools/Download 

Try to install a slightly older release (e.g. 10.23.5)  before the newest, because the newest may be missing the driver.

I tried installing the same from the above link you provided. 

I installed the nRF Command line tools (10.23.5)

Hmmm.. can you go to add and remove programs in Windows, and uninstall both the j-link and nrf command line tools, and try install an older release then (e.g. 10.22.1)? Also make sure to restart the PC.

Does ‘nrfjprog --eraseall’ work?
