Time tick or time slice API or sample code

Hi

    I use nRF7002-DK, SDK:V2.5.2, Zephyr driver, I need to calculate time tick, isn't system provide RTC time tick or to calculate time slice API or sample code for my application?I need every time slice to excute regular work, if have appropiate API or sample code, please provide, Thanks.

Hi Tina,

You can get the system uptime in ticks via the Kernel Timing API.

However, if you plan to schedule tasks to run at specific times, I recommend looking at all Kernel Services. The Scheduler, Work Queue, and Threads might be more suitable for your need. This topic is also covered in Lesson 7 and 8 of our free online course nRF Connect SDK Fundamentals.
