NRF52840 DK Not entering Bootloader Mode

Hi,

The main problem is that I have a problem with NRF Connect desktop to erase/program nrf52840 dk. I get this error:

"Error: Failed with exit code 1. One or more batch tasks failed: - [jlink] NO_EMULATOR_CONNECTED, code: Nrfjlink. Message: Batch task protection-get failed, [jlink] NO_EMULATOR_CONNECTED"

I have reinstalled both jlink and nrf connect but it didnt help. When I checked the device manager, the dk appears under "Portable Devices"

I tried to reload the firmware on the board by putting it on Bootloader mode (holding the reset button while power cycling), but Windows is always launching "JLINK" driver storage and never goes to the bootloader mode. This is the 2nd issue.

The board seems to be working fine but I'm not sure if this is aq hardware or installation issue. Help will be appreciated!

Which version of the DK are you working on?

What is your JLink version?

Not sure where to find the DK version.

For the JLINK, it's JLink_V7.94e

FYI, I think my issue is resolved. I started the JLINK command line tool while the DK is was connected. It prompted me to update the emulator version. The nrf Connect was able to find and program the board.
