current through emptynrf51822

I'm a beginner, the question might be simple but its really important for me. What would the current flowing through Empty nrf51822 when it is completely erased or empty??

Measuring on the nRF51 DK I get 2.74 mA, see here for the reason.

You can measure yourself by following the steps in the nRF51 DK User Guide chapter 5.7.

Just to be sure,

1.was the chip completely??? When you checked the current through it???

2. Why two different currents, before and after reset ???
