FOTA fail in nrf9160

Hi

I developing a nrf9160 project and try to use FOTA, I reference to example /samples/cellular/nrf_cloud_rest_fota.

finally firmware can successfully downloaded

but seems some error after download complete and firmware not successfully updated. after reset, still run with old firmware, any one know what happen?

for your information, I m using SDK 2.5.0 and modem firmware v1.3.6

Hi Dannis, 

It could be that you do not use pm_static.yml file. Static partitioning ensures consistency between builds. You can read more about configuring static partitioning in the documentation.

something new found, after download complete, new firmware run after self-reboot, but after power off and power on, it still run in old firmware, any idea?

Can you elaborate on this? Is everything working fine as long as you do not turn the device off and on again?

Which board do you use?
