nRF52832 CIAA ANT pin Matching Network with Thin Board

Hello, per the product specification, I see that the nRF52832 CIAA variant requires a shunt 1.0pF capacitor and series 3.3nH inductor.

Is this recommended regardless of the board thickness? I will be using a 0.2mm thick board.

  • Hi,

I recommend that you use these values at first, but measure the impedance on a test board and then change the components to tune it.
You will want to tune the matching network on the antenna side as well.

In other words, you use those values as a starting point.

We can also provide help with tuning.
