nrf5340 Audio DK Broadcast Sink Role Print RSSI

Dear All,

We want to test the maximum distance of Broadcast audio gateway using nrf21540EK with nrf5340 Audio DK.

And we want to output the rssi info periodically on the Broadcast headset side.

Could you please tell us which api should we use to achieve that goal.

I have seached the dev zone, I found the api "sdc_hci_cmd_sp_read_rssi",

I want to known whether it is the appropriate one.

Hello Tommy,

Which nRF Connect SDK version are you testing this on?
I would recommend testing with an SDK version v2.6.0 or later at least, in order to make use of the SoftDevice Controller.

In this case you can use the sdc_hci_cmd_sp_read_rssi function to read out the RSSI, as you mention.
