Stream audio between nRF53 and iPhone over Bluetooth

I am evaluating the nRF53 for an application that requires streaming audio bidirectionally between the nRF and an iPhone. Right now it seems like that is not possible, and I'd like to confirm that as nRF is otherwise our top candidate.

My understanding is that there is currently no Nordic hardware that supports Bluetooth Classic (link), and that iPhone currently does not support Bluetooth LE Audio (link).

Is there another option that I am missing here? Otherwise we will have to look for a different wireless module provider.

Hi Tim

It's true that we don't support Bluetooth classic, the focus is on Bluetooth LE exclusively. 

As for what Apple is doing we can't really comment on that, you would need to check with them directly.
