nrf52840dongle cannot output logs using UART

I use the nrf_dm demo program, when using the nRF52840DK development board, the program can print the log normally.

Then I changed the build configuration to nRF52840Dongle. After compiling and downloading dongle, the firmware can run normally, but there is no log printing.

On the Dongle, the .dts sets up the cdc_acm_uart for forwarding logging to the computer, which the printk should be forwarded by default so I don't see what the issue is. How are you opening the terminal on your end when trying to log from the Dongle?

Hi,

I suddenly understand that I should not use UART to receive logs, it is through the USB output log.

DK Board can use UART output, which is a bit misleading.

The problem has been solved, thank you.
