How to shutdown ble stack completely?

Good day,

I am developing app by SDK 17.1.0, including ble_nus and ble_hid, I would like to imply fuction to switch between ble_nus and ble_hid, due to some difference configuration in GATT and stack, I need to shut down or uninit ble stack completely before switch between each other.

Hi!

Yeah, it's not possible to de-register a GATT service in nRF5 SDK 17.1.0, so you would then need to re-initialize the softdevice, and then at runtime decide if you want to initialize either NUS or HID. 

The example in nRF5_SDK_17.1.0\examples\multiprotocol\ble_app_gzll shows how to re-enable/re-initialize the softdevice stack.

PS: If this is a new project, I recommend swithcing to nRF Conenct SDK. https://academy.nordicsemi.com/courses/nrf-connect-sdk-fundamentals/

Thanks a lot for your prompt reply, one more question, any new version of nRF5_SDK in the future or this product line was abandoned? tried nRF Connect SDK some times, but always failed due to many error from github, any possibility to release installation version?

No new release are planned. See this statement.  nRF Connect SDK and nRF5 SDK statement
