IAR Device Options "NordicSemi" and "NordicSemiconductor"?

We have two developers running the same version of IAR and the SDK and one of them has different device options under the project options. My IAR project works with NordicSemi > nRF51 > NordicSemi nRF51422-QFAC. When he builds and attempts to debug there are all kinds of run issues. Is there a different version of something that we are running that is causing the discrepancy?

His works fine if he selects the NordicSemiconductor > nRF51422-xxAC option as shown in the attached image.

Which chip version are you using? The QFAA and QFAB version have only 16KB RAM. The stack is placed in the top of the RAM (and grow downward). If you are using QFAA or QFAB and compile for the QFAA version (which have 32KB RAM), the stack will be placed outside of the actual RAM area.
