Speed unit for the gps

Hi everyone,

I fill a bit surprise but I don't understand who the speed of the gps is working :

Here they said that : The <speed> value represents the horizontal speed in meters.

But for me the speed is in meter/second.

How do it work ? is it the  distance travel between the last coordinate taken ?

Hi Alban,

Thanks for reporting this issue. I am pretty sure this is a mistake.

The speed here is originally from GNSS PVT DATA if you check source codes. It is explained in the following page.

Horizontal speed in m/s.

I will inform our document maintainer to correct it.
