nrf5340 NFC Tag External Power

I see in the datasheet that the NFCT peripheral supports wake-on-field, but the application I'm interested in is to upload/emulate an ID number to the NFC tag, and then hours to days later when the battery of the device housing the nRF5340 is out of energy, for an external reader to scan the tag and determine the ID.

Is it possible for the nRF5340's NFC tag peripheral to be powered using the poller's magnetic field to respond while the nRF5340 is unpowered?

Hi,

No that is not possible for the nRF5340. The NFC peripheral is non functional even if an external field is applied to it, while VDD is 0V.
