how to use dtm example?

hi professor,

     I want to use dtm to test blue RF. After i compile dtm example by vs code and download merge.hex by nrf connect sdk programmer,the uart not work.I think the merge.hex is not downloaded to chip.So I connect programmer again,It show protect memory and need to erase all.So how to use dtm example?

Please check out the Direct Test Mode app in the nRF Connect for Desktop. It should flash the device for you with the correct firmware (if you're using an nRF53 DK) and let you run tests with a GUI rather than having to use a command line.

hi Simonr,

I need to change uart pin so I can't user dtm app to flash devcie. I want to use sdk example to change uart pin and use dtm app to test rf. Is this ok? Another,I use sdk example to download merge.hex failure,Do u have any suggest?
