As of now it uses MCUboot for this purpose. For the 54L you can test the DFU solution by following this set of the documentation: https://developer.nordicsemi.com/nRF_Connect_SDK/doc/latest/nrf/device_guides/working_with_nrf/nrf54l/testing_dfu.html
