app_timer stops working after ble connect event

Hi. I'm working with Softdevice 8.0 on Rigado's nRF51 EVK. I've configured a repeated app_timer that works great. but stops just as I connect my phone to the BLE.

What am I doing wrong ?

So where's your code after the connect? In the error handler perhaps, in the hardfault handler? Most likely you just crashed so everything stops working.

Nope. there's no errors. the device keeps on working. I can send and recieve UART data through BLE.

Can you attach main.c to your question? The only thing i can think of is that you are stuck in a while loop somewhere.

You have stopped led timer in your void uart_event_handle(app_uart_evt_t * p_event) and never restarted it again. Why did you stopped it?
