Reduced Mobility feature (%REDMOB) on nRF9161

Hello,

One question on the Reduced Mobility feature (3GPP Relaxed Monitoring TS36.304 and Nordic-proprietary feature) based on %REDMOB command.

AT manual says :

%REDMOB: <mode>

<mode>

0 – Reduced mobility features disabled.

1 – Nordic-proprietary reduced mobility enabled.

2 – Reduced mobility features disabled.

I understand that we should read instead :

0 – Nordic-proprietary reduced mobility disabled & 3GPP Relaxed Monitoring feature enabled

Do you concur ?

Can you please confirm that this feature applies to both NB-IoT & LTE-M ?

Hello,

In nRF9161/51 %REDMOB command parameters are these:

0 - enable 3GPP Rel14 Relaxed Monitoring feature

1 - enable Nordic proprietary Relaxed Monitoring feature

2 - disable 3GPP Rel14 and Nordic proprietary Relaxed Monitoring features and enable full measurements to achieve best possible mobility.

Relaxed Monitoring feature applies to both NB-IoT and LTE-M systems.
