Ultrasonic welding - NRF52840

Hi,

I want to weld my product that contains NRF52840, using an ultrasonic welding machine.

Currently I'm thinking of a welding frequency of 20KHz or 40KHz.

1. Is there one frequency that should be better than the other one?

2. Are there any best practices you can recommend me of this process?

3. Do you know the mechanical resonance frequency of the component?

Ultrasonic welding should be fine, but we don't have any specific recommendations or suggestions for your query. We don't recommend any particular frequency since we don't test or practice ultrasonic welding here. However, we haven't encountered any issues with other customers using ultrasonic welding, so you can probably select a frequency that suits your needs.
