"Connected Devices" pane missing entirely from nRF Connect extension window in VS Code on Windows 11

Hello,

I have had this issue from the first time I installed VS Code and the nRF Connect Extension.

When I open my project, the connected devices pane is just missing from the left hand side. Additionally, when I right click and try to select it, it is just missing.

However, if I manually uninstall->reinstall the extension, it will show up. But I have to do this for every new window I open.

I came across this post and tried setting 'nrfjprog' under the device provider in the extension settings, but it doesnt seem to have made a difference.

Hello Priyanka,

It seems like the problem has resolved it self with the most recent update to nRF Connect for Desktop. After updating, my vs code seems to show the connected device pane when I first open vs code. Not sure if it is a coincidence with something else that change, but I havent updated anything else to my recollection. Thank you for the assistance!

The nRF Connect VS Code extension was previously working fine for me, but as of today I am having the same problem as the original poster ("Connected Devices" pane is missing completely with no option to show it). Reinstalling the extension did not resolve the issue.
