hello,
I would like to know which operations were performed on all chips by the `nrfjprog --recover` command.
"The nrf52833-B chip is by default enabled for read protection, and I would like to close this write protection using the SWD protocol."

Hi,
When you perform the nrfjprog --recover command, at first the erase all command is executed which erases the data on the device. Then it disables the APPROTECT in the hardware, followed by loading a small fw that will disable APPROTECT in software too. Hence now the device will be able to unlock itself during a reset. You can find further details in this ticket.
Please also take a look at this ticket.
