1. After executing nrfjprog --recover command with PCA10040 DK, I read this hex: nRF52832.hex with Programmer

2. What does this program do that causes read protection to be disabled?
3. Where is the source code of this program?

Hi,

The --recover command would erase everything and with disable the APPROTECT register by setting its value as specified in the product specification.

The tool is provided as an executable binary.
