how to set phy to 125 kbps in nrf 52840?

Hi,

I am using zephyr application. I need your guidance on how to set phy to 125 kbps?

I enabled some configurations regarding this please verify that and let me know is that enough to set phy to 125 kbps.

CONFIG_BT_AUTO_PHY_UPDATE=y

CONFIG_BT_CTLR_PHY_CODED=y

CONFIG_BT_PHY_UPDATE=y

Hi

You should only need the following to set the application to use Coded PHY (125 kbps) in NCS:

CONFIG_BT_CTLR_ADV_EXT=y

CONFIG_BT_CTLR_PHY_CODED=y

 

You probably should not enable the CONFIG_BT_AUTO_PHY_UPDATE since this lets the application automatically update the PHY if you want to only stay at Coded PHY. 

What application specifically are you using for testing here, so I can test on my end if you're still having issues on your end.

I did the following but the range didn't improve as per our expectation the range is arround 15 Meters

Okay, how have you set up your advertising in your application then? Please refer to the Coded PHY sample in the SDK to see how to set up a device running in the Coded PHY: Bluetooth: Peripheral Heart Rate Monitor with Coded PHY

I had gone through long range throughput example to know about how to set Coded phy and I am able set coded phy in my software still not getting long Range

Can you provide some details on what devices exactly you're testing, what kind of environment you're testing in and show some logs of what you're doing and what happens when you go "out of range"?

A sniffer log using a Bluetooth Sniffer or the nRF Sniffer and Wireshark might be useful to see what's going on over the air exactly.
