Can Channel Sounding technology and BLE Mesh be used at the same time? Does the SDK support it? If they can be used at the same time, will it affect the communication of mesh?

Hi,
Channel Sounding spec is still not ratified so the answer is based on the current preliminary spec. We do not support Channel Sounding as the spec is not complete. For a timeline for support after spec ratification, please contact you local RSM.
Channel Sounding will only work in connected mode between paired devices. We can run connected mode concurrently with the mesh functionality so should be able to run Channel Sounding on devices in a mesh but not on the mesh packets. Running connected mode with Channel Sounding will eat a significant amount of radio time so will negatively impact mesh throughput and communication stability for nodes with relay functionality. Low Power nodes will be less impacted.

Hello,
Running concurrently connected mode (with channel sounding capability) and mesh mode is also a very interesting feature for us.
I would like to ask if there are any news concerning support for channel sounding in Nordic nRF54 series (or any other serires).
Also, if there is any example or demo project for concurrent connected and mesh modes.
Thank you in advance.

You can look at https://docs.nordicsemi.com/bundle/ncs-latest/page/nrfxlib/softdevice_controller/doc/channel_sounding.html as well, features starting to get merged.
Thank you very much for your information.
I see there is an evaluation board for the vRF54: nRF54L15-DK. Would them be appropriate for testing channel sounding?

Yes, that is the board to use.
Thank you!!
