How to configure the nRF5340 DK as Gateway ?

Hi Nordic,

I tried following the instructions in this review (https://community.element14.com/products/roadtest/rv/roadtest_reviews/1678/roadtest_nordic_bluetooth_le_audio_development_kit_nrf5340_dk_by_steve_k)  for the nRF5340 DK board. The Gateway configuration was done using the Python script with the command:

python buildprog.py -p -c both -b release -d both

However, I'm unable to detect the system sound properties.

                  

Could you please help me configure the nRF5340 DK as a Gateway?

Hi, 

nRF5340 Audio applications only supports nRF5340 Audio DK instead of nRF5340DK.

Please use nRF5340 Audio DK and refer to this Configuring the nRF5340 Audio applications with the latest NCS.

Hi Amanda,

I have only single audio dk board, so I want to configure dk board as gateway and audio dk as headset to test LE audio application.

Since both the boards has same chipsets why audio application cannot be flashed on to dk?

nRF5340 Audio DK has the Low Complexity Communications Codec (LC3) for audio application, but nRF5340DK doesn't.
