Hi,
I have tried to update the nRF Connect for Desktop app (v.4.2.0 to v.5.0.2). Unfortunately, the process does not work through the end. Once the installation of the new version starts, at some point it stops and an error message comes out saying that the app is open and it cannot be closed, and that I should close it manually and click on Repeat so that the installation process can be continued (see picture). However, when the message comes out, there is no app open, just the installer itself.
I have tried manually uninstalling the previous version of the app that I had already installed, but it does not work either, because the same error message I was getting for the installation comes back while uninstalling it (see picture).
Do you guys have experienced this issue or do you know how to solve it?
