Can we make interface multi to multi with proprietary_rf application?

HI Nordic support team,

i want to ask about:  interface multi to multi with proprietary_rf example?

At this time we only have 2 nrf52840 DK board. We cannot check multi point RF interface.

Our application want to using RF to  make a lowpower network to apply using battery Cr2032.

So can i improve example in proprietary_rf folder to make our specify Mesh network?

Hello,

Normally we provide point to point communication as examples for our propritary examples:
https://docs.nordicsemi.com/bundle/ncs-latest/page/nrf/protocols/esb/index.html

There is no problem to write code that can send 1 to many, but be aware that making a Mesh network is not straight forward, but it is possible.

as i know "ESB" application only can configure to Tx or Rx right?
Can not configure to work on both side Tx and Rx?

Hello,

Changing operation mode is not something I recommend, since it's very difficult to do this safely without experincing race conditions between PTX vs. PRX mode. If you plan to disable ACK, and instead have the application send all packets (including any kind of bidirectional data that may act as a ACK), then I think it can be done.
