Multiple nrf Connect for desktop versions

Hi, I was wondering if hosting more than one nrf Connect for desktop version on the same computer was possible. The reason is that I need to use both the old app LTE link monitor (which was available until nrf connect for desktop V4.0.0) and the Programmer. Unfortunately, the latter doesn't work well with nrf connect for desktop V4.0.0 (I couldn't even open the app).

Is there any solution other than installing both versions of nrf connect for desktop? If there's not, how can I manage this? Currently, when I install one version the other one disappears altogether with those apps that are not supported in both versions. 

I know the cellular monitor is similar to the LTE link monitor, but it isn't being useful for my current application.

We have the Cellular Monitor which is the replacement for the old LTE Link Monitor. Have you checked this out?

To run multiple versions of nRF Connect for Desktop, you can consider using virtual machines or containers to keep each version isolated. build now gg
