Qualification Fee for Firmware Upgrade

Hello,

I am developing a HID device with DFU OTA and would like my customers to be able to upgrade this product independently via DFU OTA in the future. I would like to know if I should have each new firmware version for this product qualified over Bluetooth SIG. For example, if there is a newer SDK version or if I add new GATT services to the product as part of the upgrade. If so, would the qualification of each firmware version of an already registered product cost as much as the qualification for a completely new product?

Unless you don't add features to the product, there's no requirement to list the design again.

I have another question. How is a feature defined? What if I add the functionality of a mouse to my BLE HID device later.

Depends a bit. If you are changing it so it's a new product, you have list again.

With feature I mean BLE feature, like higher datarate, mesh, audio etc.
