NCS installation

Hi，

I am following the nRF Connect SDK Fundamentals course of Lesson 1 – nRF Connect SDK Introduction of Exercise 1 to install NCS development environment,when I executed the fifth step Install nRF Connect SDK, it failed. I used the west update command and successfully downloaded NCS to the local computer after multiple attempts. But now the problem is that the nRF Connect plug-in in visual studio cannot recognize the NCS library that I have successfully downloaded. What should I do to make it recognize it? Thank you.

Which Operating system are you using.? We have the Getting started guide for nRF Connect SDK, which explains the steps to install NCS both automatically as well as manually.. See here: https://docs.nordicsemi.com/bundle/ncs-2.3.0/page/nrf/getting_started.html

Thank you for your reply,the operating system that i used is Win11.

As you can see, Manages SDK does not recognize NCS v2.6.1, but I have successfully downloaded the entire library. What should I do to make Manages SDK recognize NCS v2.6.1 so that I can continue development?

According to the URL you provided, I used the west zephyr-export command. After clicking Refresh SDK, it was successfully recognized. Thank you.
