nrf9160 development in CLion possible?

I have tried to follow the Zephyr CLion instructions and got it to build. However I could never get to the point where I could run or debug the project on the device. Various errors pop up. Before I go into the details, I was just curious if there is anyone here who does any (zephyr based) nrf sdk development using CLion?
