what's the dedicated bonding ?

I would like to know that what's the dedicated bonding ? I saw this in the introduction of a BT chip. I am confused with 'dedicated bonding'. And what's the general bonding in BLE? what's the difference between them? thanks a lot !!!

Hi bernerd,

dedicated bonding and general bonding was something that was introduced and removed during the development of the bluetooth 4.0 spec. The only thing you have to think about now is bonding.

I guess this introduction for tha BT chip was written before the spec was finalized.

So which "BT chip" are you talking about? How about giving a proper reference (preferably a link) to the document in question - so that we can see it in context?
