nRF52840 DK Stop working inconsistency led5 blinking

Hello, 

My DK stop working as programmer suddenly. 

the VDD power is normal with 2.9V and the V5.

Try already to power on with reset button hold.

blinking is not Consitency. Sometimes it just one short blinking on the other power on its multiple blinking. 

Can't see it on the usb and change already cables.

read a lot in the forum, but nothing really works.

Even though the VDD power is at 2.9V, ensure that all other power rails (e.g., V5) are within the correct voltage ranges. Sometimes power issues can be subtle and might not be immediately obvious.

Hi,

LED5 is used for the onboard debugger. Could it be a bad connection in the USB cable or USB connector? Can you replace the cable and test if that does not work, test on another computer (in case there are other USB related issues)?

Even though the VDD power reads 2.9V, there could still be an internal issue like a short circuit or damaged component causing instability. Carefully inspect the board for any visible damage, burnt areas, or components that might look out of place.

If LED5 blinks inconsistently and the board isn't recognized, try entering DFU mode by holding sort the court RESET while connecting the USB. Also, update the J-Link firmware using Segger tools. If the problem persists, the debugger chip could be faulty.
