Is there a built-in temperature sensor in the SoC

Hi all,

I wonder if nrf9160 has a built-in temperature sensor interfaced with the ADC, that could help to diagnose the internal chip temperature?

Hello, 

The nRF9160 has a built-in thermal protection temperature sensor that can be interfaced using AT command Internal temperature notification %XTEMP and AT command High level for internal temperature %XTEMPHIGHLVL. More information have be found in the nRF9160 Hardware Design Guidelines - Thermal protection.

Note that is not intended to be used as a normal temperature sensor.
