Hi,
With Bluetooth LE on the nRF52833, you should expect several meters range, yes. This is regardless of which SDK you use. Depending on the surrounding environment (other radio sources etc.) you may in ideal situations reach several tens of meters. If you need even more range, you could add a front end module, such as the nRF21540.
Please note that for new projects, you should use the newer nRF Connect SDK, and not the older, now-in-maintenance-mode, nRF5 SDK. See our nRF Connect SDK and nRF5 SDK statement for details on SDK selection.

First of all, the SDK17.1 I use is the latest.
And you did not understand my meaning, I mean, I mean NRF52833 using SDK17.1 how far can be transmitted?
I want to make Bluetooth as primitive as possible, how do I set it up so that it can be used long distance?
Thank you!
Hi,
Your original question was mentioning one meter. If you have less than a meter range with a current project, then something is most likely wrong with the board, antenna, antenna tuning or casing. Are you using a custom design, and have you run it through us here on DevZone for hardware review and tuning?
