Bluetooth (sniffer) tracing of nRF Desktop.

Hi, I'd like to trace the Bluetooth behavior of the nRF Desktop sample post-pairing. I have an nrf52840 dongle running the sniffer, and can observe advertising packets.

Could someone please provide advice/pointers on how to use that setup to follow the conversation between my computer and nrfDesktop post-encryption?

Hi,

If the pairing happens with legacy pairing, the sniffer will automatically be able to decrypt the link if it sniffs the pairing procedure. If using LESC you need to output the key after pairing and inser that into the sniffer as explained under Sniffing a connection between bonded devices. Regarding obtaining the key, you can refer to this post.
