Error message when using nRF Connect for desktop with multiple apps: Error while updated nrfutil core

Hello,

I am using nRF Connect SDK v2.6.1 and nRF Connect for desktop v5.0.2.

I am currently developing with the nRF21540 and for some tests, I want to use the RSSI Viewer, Bluetooth Low Energy, and Direct Test Mode. However, I always receive the following error message when opening them. Does anyone have any tips or hints on how I can solve this?

08:53:45.670 Error: Failed with exit code 1. The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process. (os error 32).

Hi,

From what I understand, you consistently get those errors when opening the applications?

I have tried to reproduce, but here I seem to be able to open all apps without issue.

What boards (if any) have you connected to the PC when starting the apps, and which order do you start the apps in?

I use the nrf21540 board and first I tried to open the Rssi Viewer, but I tried every app at first after opening the nrf Connect for desktop.

Are you still experiencing the same issue?

I have tried to reproduce, both with the nRF21540 DK connected and not, but I am afraid I am unable to reproduce.

Please make sure that you have the latest versions of nRF Connect for Desktop, nRF Command Line Tools, nrfutil and J-Link software installed on your system.

If you still see any issues, and have tried the above, please let me know and we can investigate further.
