Issue with NRF52840 DK on NRF Connect for Desktop Bluetooth Low Energy(stand alone version)

am using the NRF52840 DK to interact with some BLE devices, and I am trying to use NRF Connect for Desktop Bluetooth Low Energy.

While the DK is correctly recognized in the device selection menu (upper left corner), the log terminal shows the following message:

16:45:13.369

I have tried reinstalling various versions of J-Link software, but the issue persists. Strangely, this issue did not occur a year ago when I last used the DK.

Could you please assist me in resolving this issue?

  • Hi,

When you connect you nRF52840DK and go to the Programmer app within the nRF Connect for Desktop, and then select you DK from the dropdown menu on the top left corner, do you get any prompts to re-program with new firmware? If so, please do this.

Which version of the DK are you working with?

Also, make sure your nRF Command Line Tools are up-to-date.
