Re-programming NRF52840 DK with debugger

Hello,

I am attempting to use a J-Link or a FORTE programmer to interface with the debug port to upload a new binary/program to my board. Is this possible? I am trying to use the VDD, GND, SWCLK, and SWDIO pins. Is there anything I need to do beforehand to make this programming possible? Any similar situations or posts would be appreciated.

I mainly want to know if there is another way to program my NRF52840 chip without a USB connection. I know FOTA works, but are there any other methods? I am trying to enter production level programming.

Hi,

Yes, if sw6 is set to "default" and not "nRF only" then you can use the debug in connector to use Jlink.
